Easterly Artists member Geoff Litchfield is exhibiting work as part of The Augment Project at the Bower Ashton Library in Bristol.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 3rd April to Tuesday 1st July 2025.
The show is curated by artist Sharon Hall Shipp who put out an open call inviting artists to become involved in a collaborative book project along the lines of the mail art principle of add-and-pass.
Sample books were created by Shipp from magazines and papers with some initial interventions and then sent out to individual artists to respond to them in a manner of their choosing by adding text, ephemera, mixed media and resequencing.
24 artists are featured from the UK, USA, Canada, Germany and Spain. The show may be toured after the closing date and a book of the contributions has been published to accompany the exhibition.
