On the Edge
The Easterly Artists return with another of their popular pop-up art exhibitions, On the Edge, at the former Tesco / Battery of Ideas building in Lowestoft’s London Road North.
As part of Heritage Open Days, Easterly Artists present ON THE EDGE, a pop‑up exhibition exploring identity, place, and the evolving character of our town. Set within the former Tesco building on Lowestoft High Street (formerly known as the Battery of Ideas).
The show brings together a diverse mix of painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed‑media work from artists across the region.
It’s an invitation to see Lowestoft from every angle — through drama, art, science, education, and lived experience — and to celebrate the inclusivity and diversity that give our town its strength.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this vibrant moment in Lowestoft’s creative calendar.
Open every day at the old Tesco, 119-125 London Road North, Lowestoft NR32 1LZ, Saturday 12th – Monday 21st September, 11am -5pm.
Completely free entry– Come in to view and have a chance to talk to the artists.
Easterly Artists formed in 2018 as a not-for-profit collective, to promote the practice of local visual artists and encourage awareness and appreciation of their work. Members are all practising artists living and/or working within a 20-mile radius of Ness Point, the most Easterly part of the UK.
