Our member, Harvey Bradley is helping out along with St Marks, Oulton Broad (silver award Eco Church) – to hold a Green Day on Saturday 1st June 2024 between 10am and 2pm, which is a free community event.
Local people and groups from further afield will be highlighting their Green initiatives; from running a hedgehog haven, nurturing honey bees to raising the issue of coastal flooding.
Our local MP, prospective candidates, councillors and environmental groups (such as the Christian Climate UK and Use Your Voice Lowestoft) will be in attendance.
Some issues have very serious implications – but nature’s ability to recover is amazing too.
Indeed there is much joy in recognising and encouraging a healthier environment for us all (nature and mankind alike). Join in to share the journey, have fun, enjoy some cake and a drink, and hopefully learn a thing or two.
