Neil Whitehead paints landscapes in acrylic and watercolour as well as portraits in pencil and classic vehicle illustrations in gouache. His paintings have been sold in Spain, Portugal, America, Finland and France as well as the UK. He is also an accomplished photographer and graphic designer.
Born in Dagenham in 1948, Neil had a varied career as an illustrator, art director and graphic designer working for leading London advertising and design consultancies during the 70’s and 80’s. He then established a design consultancy in Dedham with his wife Sandy.
They have now returned to Suffolk after 14 years living in the south west of France running art courses. The countryside of France was the inspiration for Neil’s work as is the Suffolk and Norfolk landscapes.
