Easterly Artists Are Back With A Sensational New Pop-Up Gallery And Exhibition Letting in the Light
Easterly Artists are back with another of their highly-acclaimed pop-up galleries and exhibitions, taking over the disused Ladbrokes building in the Triangle Market on historic Lowestoft High Street and transforming it into a focal point for some of the most creative and inspiring art in East Suffolk today.
Letting in the Light
Old Ladbrokes Building, 5-7 St Peter’s Street, Triangle Market, Lowestoft NR32 1QA
Open: Daily 10am-5pm, Friday 9-Sunday 18 Sept. Free entry.
Titled Letting in the Light, the new show explores one of the most important elements in any artist’s toolbox: light – what is it, how does it change, how can you play with it and how does it affect both the artist’s view of what they’re creating and the viewer’s perception of what they’re seeing?
Letting in the Light is open daily 10am-5pm, Friday 9-Sunday 18 September at 5-7 St Peter’s Street, Triangle Market, Lowestoft NR32 1QA, and, as always, entry is free.
As an added attraction, members of Easterly Artists will be on hand throughout the show, to talk about their work and answer any questions from members of the public or would-be artists of all ages.
Getting there
From Lowestoft town centre, walk North up London Road North past the United Reformed Church. Cross the road at the next traffic lights and continue for another 100 yards till you reach the Triangle Market. The Old Ladbrokes Building is off to your left.
