Easterly Artists’ Summer exhibition Heritage! Opens in Lowestoft at The Art Gallery, 102 High Street, 10-19 September.
We’re thrilled to be back with our first Lowestoft face-to-face exhibition in two years!
Housed in the much missed and recently reopened historic mid-16th Century Merchant House Gallery, now given a new lease of life as The Art Gallery, Heritage! is part of this year’s national Heritage Open Days celebrations.
You’ll see work by 16 of East Suffolk’s most talented and creative artists, covering a fascinating range of mediums: everything from portraits to print-making, landscapes to leporello, digital illustration to dorodango, ceramics and artistic woodturning will be on show.
The Art Gallery is Ideally situated in Lowestoft’s growing cultural quarter at the top of London Road North, giving you the perfect opportunity to spend a pleasant morning taking in the exhibition and chatting to the artists, before going on to browse the shelves in Paperworks bookshop and admire the latest wall-hangings in Art & Craft in Wood directly opposite, then finishing with a quick stroll up the High Street for a coffee and a bite to eat in JoJo’s Kitchen & Bar at No. 93.
Heritage! runs Friday 10 – Sunday 19 September (closed Monday 13 September). Opening times are 10am – 5pm and entry is free. The Art Gallery is at 102 High Street, Lowestoft NR32 1XW.
The exhibition forms part of this year’s Lowestoft Heritage Open Days celebrations – visit the Heritage Open Days website for details.
