Nina has exhibited in a range of group shows and solo exhibitions across Suffolk, Norfolk and Staffordshire. A previous participant in the Gainsborough Drawing touring exhibition and Norwich Festival, she has painted since her teens before moving on to collage and boxed found objects, as well as sculptural assemblages and – more recently – collections of curiosities and more sculptural pieces made from found wood.
Found objects are her passion, from recycling discarded and deconstructed jewellery to anything found, gifted or bought from boot sales and charity shops. She works with these raw materials to fashion images related to place, history, other artists, myths and legends, often writing books to accompany her larger or more complex pieces of work. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Stoke-on-Trent.
